Iām truly sorry Heath. I know that people who donāt understand just wouldnāt get it, but there are people who know what it means to lose a loved one and not be able to fill that void.
Whomever it is that loves us unconditionally, be it person or pet, this is a value that cannot be measured by any conventional wisdom nor system of value which I have ever found.
If all we have left of that which brought us the greatest joy are memories, then just try and focus on the memories that bring the same joy into our lives as they did. As they would want us to.

Perhaps because you had your hands on it and the device keeps your smell, so Cat feels near too you, even if you are not there.

Really sorry to hear the news. We lost our first cat (first cat together with my wife) after only 6 months and it was one of the most upsetting things Iāve ever been through.
I couldnāt agree more about the people comment, humans suck!
I promise you, it gets better with time. You will only have good memories once you get past this hard part.

Humans are animals who radically dominated all other species. They donāt regulate nature normally.
Having cats as companions doesnāt help regulation imo.

Anytime I pick up a guitar Gino is all over me. Heās so curious about them. He pulls at the strings with his teeth, rubs his cheeks all over my hands, just wonāt leave me alone. He even watches guitar videos with me on the iPad. Heās been like that ever since he was a kitten.
