Use a single cycle waveform, looped. And make an amp envelope to mimic a typtical synth patch. Make the amp envelope obvious ( so no long attack decay)

You’ll hear the difference in envelope behaviour very easily. Even more so if you use a filter, and mess around with FX enevelope settings.

Pretty much, analog triggers the envelope at the same level the last one was at, re trig, does exactly that, retriggers the envelope, regardless of where the last one was. And so on according to the manual.

Its a pretty subtle setting. I pretty much never use it, as I dont use my octrack for pretending its a synth. But its there to play with, if you feel like it. If it makes no sense to you, forget about it. Like pick up machines :slight_smile:
