Can't transfer SysEx to AR MKII

Hey guys,

Completely fresh out of the boat here, got my first Elektron on Thursday and can’t say how amazed I am by this machine.
However I don’t know what’s happening when I try to transfer SysEx (free sound pack Drum Sound Enthusiast) files to the AR via Transfer.
I’ve setup the MIDI port input to USB, and even updated the OS and sent samples, but SysEx files to banks don’t seem to get sent to the machine for some reason.
I’m basically going to Sysex Dump -> Receive, then select +Drive Sound and a Bank and it shows a blinking WAITING DATA…
I drag and drop the SysEx files and they show as done immediately and WAITING DATA is still there blinking eternally.
Again, sorry if this is an obvious one, but I’ve been through the manuals and it’s very straightforward and works perfectly for samples and OS upgrade, but not for sysex.
Am I missing something?

Try using the “receive anything” option instead.

Thanks for the answer.
It didn’t work with the sysexs files from that sound pack in particular, but it did with every other I’ve tried.

It’s quite clear that those .syx sounds are for the Analog Four, it’s only the sample wave files that you may find useful for the AR - but the sysex is only for Analog Four/Keys !!
