Can't play midi notes from OT sequencer to Tempest

Ok, from one problem to another. I can’t seem to play midi notes from the OT sequencer to the Tempest.

I made a pad sound on the Tempest. The Tempest is set up to play incoming notes on channel 12 (pad A1).

On the OT, on midi track 1, I have set it to channel 12, and when I play using the chromatic mode, I can trigger sounds just fine on the Tempest. But when I enter a note in the sequencer on the OT, and then press play, nothing plays on the Tempest! Yet again, I tried everything – made sure the note length was set the proper way on the OT and all.

The weird thing is that when I play in the chromatic mode, the Tempest triggers from the OT, but not from the OT sequencer.

Anybody got any suggestions?

A basic suggestion: is the track muted? If not then I have no idea.

Track is not muted. This is really strange behaviour…!

Jesus Christ – another track was solo’ed though.

Damn, it’s been a while since I played around with the OT. Rookie mistake – my bad…
