Octatrack MK2:
Enabling the triggers on track one for the steps in record mode isn’t working like it is for the other tracks.
Looked through the manual, youtube videos, can’t figure this out. Been troubleshooting this for at least an hour.
- All other tracks are audible
- Track is enabled in mixer
- Flex (recorded sample) is saved and assigned, name shows on display
- Sample can be heard in chromatic mode by pressing the trigger keys (when stopped). Also, if I press aed, then function+yes, i can hear the entire sample
- Start times are correct, both on main screen, sample selection. Sample has been trimmed, the whole sample is selected
- Slice mode is off. I double tap src, and checked those settings.
- Loop mode is off, timestretch is off, quantized trigger is direct
- Right trim is at minimum
- Start is at 0
- I’ve toggled cue+track in mix mode, nothing happens
- Flex sample appears to be properly assigned to track
No here’s some interesting things:
- On the other tracks, the green light goes across in play mode. It doesn’t on track one.
- In mixer mode, it’s a filled-in black square instead of an outline square. I don’t know what the difference is, and reading the manual didn’t help understand it
- I don’t appear to have any recording cues enabled as far as I can tell
