I am trying to figure out how to setup the midi in an out to record midi tracks in my Daw (Studio One 3). Until now i found out to get a midi signal from Digitakt in my DAW :
INPUT FROM: USB
OUTPUT TO: USB
OUTPUT CH: TRACK CH
PARAM OUTPUT: CC
ENCODER DEST: INT+EXT
TRIG KEY DEST: EXT
MUTE DEST: EXT
RECEIVE NOTES: YES
RECEIVE CC/NRPN: YES
But when I play on the pads I get the same sounds (samples) on the 8 pads that light up at the same time. All MIDI tracks receive a signal at the same time in my DAW while they are assigned to different midi channels by track: track1 channel1, track2 channel2, etc … There is certainly a setup to do in Digitakt to get each sound from the 8 pads assigned to a different channel ??? Another thing: when I run a pattern (play) on the Digitakt there is no midi signal received in Studio One. I would like to use Digitakt as I use an analog synth like Access Virus TI 2 or Moog Sub Phatty recording on Midi and Audio tracks. Could you please explain me how to do this. Thanks
