What I mean is when I’m using the digitakt to sequence external devices, can I connect a midi keyboard to the digitakt so that I can have more octaves readily available without having to scroll up and down through them?
I do that all the time. Set the midi keyboard to the auto channel (10 by default) and it will control whichever track you have selected. You can also edit notes in the sequencer by pressing the trig and pressing the key you want the trig to be. Very handy.
