Ive been looking at plenty of RYTM videos and to me its making sense to possibly swap my MDUW for a RYTM, especially now im getting to grips with the OCT, rendering UW nearly unused except for samples.
But can the RYTM do the crazy mess everything up like the MD can. FUNCTION + Any knob and then reload with FUNCTION+CLASSIC.

No. No func+all.
But performance and scene modes can be made to do twisted things.
The newly released apple app STROM gives func+all to the AR. Refer to all the recent posts.
Missing out on a cool feature there. Yea seen scenes but its not the same.
Seems daft to have get an I pad to do that!
I had a MD and while both are great I’d take the RYTM any day. MDUW is fantastic and dare I say would compliment the RYTM very nice, if you can afford multiple thousand dollar drum machines. But ya RYTM get really wild, as unique as the MD digitalness is, the RYTMs Analogness is equally special and unique.
