Can someone with Adobe Illustrator help to re-create my logo?

Hi

I’ve lost the AI file for a logo that was made for me over 15 years ago. I only have a .jpg.

Is anyone here able to re-create it for me from the .jpg?

It’s probably a 5 minute job, but I no longer use any of the Adobe products.

As a bonus, it would also be cool to have it in 20 different colours from a nice contemporary colour palette for my label’s back catalogue that I’m redesigning.

Happy to ‘buy you a coffee’ in whatever way works for you to say thanks.

Here’s the label if anyone is interested: https://falkrecs.bandcamp.com

Thanks

Just ran it through image trace on Illustrator and seems fine?

Nice to see that’s working well over these years even with the dumbass shift to generative AI.

Check out https://vectorizer.ai/
Not free but the results are fantastic. You can then finetune the result using Affinity Designer. I believe there is a free trial From Affinity for many weeks right now?

I wonder if they’ve tweaked the algorithm over the years but it’s pretty much always been great for simple things like this.

Take a closer look at the letters. Manual work needs to be done there.

I can do that for you.

I’m sure someone the author can find the font and change it if needed. Text is often the hardest part but with something like this easy to replace unless it was hand lettered.

Anyway! Nice little logo.

Thanks, but when I zoom in it’s quite pixelated. Is there a way to increase the resolution?

Thanks. The text isn’t important. Just the graphics in a high resolution that I can use for various purposes.

Thanks Simon. Here are the files:

Thanks Filip, that might work well for the logo. Text isn’t important for what I need.

Here are the only files I have if it helps:

Just hit save as. I uploaded the svg which is a vector. Have fun!

It looks like other posters may have helped you out in this, so I’ll bow out.

If for whatever reason you’ve not quite got what you need, then shout out again and I’ll see if I can help.

Cheers.

This still needs a little bit of work to tidy up the edges and the curves. Can anyone help?

Try this

Ps I took the liberty of matching the line weight on the wording.
It was a bit off which I assumed wasn’t deliberate.
