Can I verify this isn't a bug?

Hi,
Any Octatrack MK2 owners out there who can verify that the record button doesn’t light correctly when"live recording" selected?
The manual says it should flash, as it does on my other Elektron machines, but on the device it can either be on continually or not on at all?
Hopefully just a software bug and not something hardwired.
If anyway could check they experience this little big I’d appreciate it.

No red record but in the display play and RECORD are lit (and flashing)

This is a confirmed bug. Will be fixed for 1.31

Doesn’t seem right indeed.

Hi - got my new Octatrack MK2 a few days ago.
Can’t get the record button to flash at all though…
usually on Elektron sequencers flash is live record and solid red is step recording…

Am I doing something stupid or is it a faulty record button ? - I can input triggers and automation live but with a solid red record light ( has flashing record on screen…)
If I press record and play a couple of times I will have the flashing record sign on the screen but the record button is not even lit occasionally which doesn’t seem right…
Any help much appreciated…

Hi Umbongo. I just confirmed on my MkII that the record button flashes as expected along with the screen’s record button, when recording realtime. I would encourage you to submit a ticket to Elektron support (if you haven’t already).
