Here’s a bit of a stupid question probably.
A friend’s coming over next week for a jam session. We won’t have access to a midi sequencer, so we can’t trigger his Mbase that way, which leaves us the only option to use the A4’s CV sequencer for that duty.
The question is, does it work? I know nothing about CV, and the manual of the Jomox states that it has a Trigger in, and I have no idea if CV works or not for that purpose.
An additional question: If it does work, can someone give me a quick tour on how to set up the A4 to send the relevant CV signals? I’m usually all for experimenting and trying out things on my own, but we can only scheduel a quick-ish jam session and don’t have all day for menu-diving.
Thanks!

Yeah, I had my Mbase 1 working with it, it was a while ago but I’m pretty sure you set to TRIG in the CV config menu with a fairly short trig length.
Hook up the CV out on the A4 to the Jomox’s audio in, enter some trigs on the CV track and let the sequence run then bring up the input volume on the Jomox so that it’s always triggering, I think I was set at around 29 or more.
Sorry I can’t go into more detail off the top of my head but I think you’ll figure it out with these patchy details, have fun.
They work really well together, only takes a minute to set up, I’d suggest running it on track 1-4 as you’ll get use of the filter saturation/overdrive etc…
Making the stuff you make I think you’ll love it m8, I’ve heard some of your A4 noodles wile lurking over at the subsekt boards, keep at it!
Make sure the x-trig sensitivity on the MBase is set over to 150.
