Can I sample the Digitakt into itself?

Is it possible to sample the Digitakt into itself by routing the out left/right into the in left/right? I’m quite new to Digitakt and I’ve yet to really touch the area of sampling into it, so this may be an easy question for some.

Basically my motivation is to create chord-based samples by setting up several tracks (one per note of the chord) with the same sample, play my chord, and record it back into the Digitakt so I now have that chord as a flattened, stand-alone sample.

No need to cable it you can choose the option to sample from the internal source. The technique is known as ‘resampling’ and is highly reccomended!

Nonetheless I’ll leave this thread here in case it helps any other noobs. TL;DR - it’s possible to do what I wanted without any cables - Digitakt can sample internally (i.e. itself).
