Can i input directly from Modular in to OTmkii?

hallo!
is it safe to feed direct signal in my OTmkii from modular synth?
i know sometimes modular voltage peaks +10v
or i need to go thru audio interface before OT ?
im interested to small setup, with possible less cables and gear.

my modular last module is Doepfer A-135-2 VCA/Mixer
or i can output from MI Elements or anny Kik module

Should be fine. Watch that you’re not constantly in the red (good gain staging practice anyway) and you won’t come close to clipping and thus damaging anything.

Yeah I do it all the time. Remember to change your sample rate to 24bit

Input levels on the Mk1s were giving people issues with hotter signals, so those inputs were upgraded along with the encoders/screen etc The Mk1 Input handles +8dBu (5.5V peak to peak) +17dBu for Mk2 (15.5V peak to peak) sure sounds more convenient, but does that result in folk experiencing/perceiving samples which sound more underwhelming (due to loss of level relative to imported samples)
