I have a DN/DT combo and I’m willing to buy a Keystep for live playing/live recording into the Elektron boxes sequencers. I’m thinking about the Keystep because is cheap and because of the CV/Gate outputs that can control the Boog or the MicroFreak at the same time so I can get some overdub style sounds.
My question is: can I map the record button from the Keystep(or any other button) via CC so the DT or DN enters in live recording mode? I know is not a big deal but one button press is better than two at the same time when you just got into that groove and manage to play on time for 10 seconds when you are an amateur keyboard player at best.
