Can Analog Heat deal with Eurorack CV outside -5/5v?

Just received my Heat and having fun with it. I want to try it with modular, but just want to make sure if I need to attenuate my CV signals between -5 and 5 before sending it to Heat. Will Heat be damaged if you send it too hot CV?

Heat has calibration for incoming CV. Very handy. In the settings somewhere. You’ll find it.

Thanks Carl, I see those settings are used to calibrate the zero and max levels between -5.5 and 5.5.

I’m interested however if there is protection to the circuitry if I accidentally patch in a module that sends a 10v cv, would I end up frying the unit?

I have sent voltages from some of my eurorack modules that are outside the +/-5v range. And my Heat still works. Now I don’t know the inner workings of the Heat. But I think it’d possibly cause a lot of trouble for Elektron to omit some sort of protection on the inputs for such a “flexible” standard as CV. They are smarter than that.
