Have any of you dived in to Alchemy? I spent some time with the demo this weekend and had a lot of fun with the Additive, Spectral and Granular synthesis modes. I don’t have anything in my arsenal that does those things (or does granular well in a musical sense) so i’m thinking about picking it up.

One of if not thee best sample-based software synthesizer available at present. Alchemy is sample re-synthesis. This goes beyond single cycle wavetable synthesis. Multiple Part support, very complex, great modulation matrix, part morph, you name it Alchemy has it. Been around for years, a must have in any soft-synth arsenal. Lots of sample libraries too. Get it!
