Calibrating VCO, simple plug in?

I want to calibrate my VCOs and I need a synth plug in as the reference source. All I want is something with a ramp wave and lets me bypass the filter.

Any ideas?

i don’t know which daw you are working with…but in cubase there’s a testgenerator (or test tone, dunno)…a simple oscilloscope and also a tuner as vst-plug…that should do the trick…for me it worked when i tried to match my old buddys

Sorry, yeah I should have said what DAW. I have Ableton lite, I think 7. I never really use DAWs but this is the time when they really come in handy.

A testone would be fine if it could receive MIDI notes and had a ramp/saw output.

I’m finding it difficult to find a software synth that lets you bypass the filter.
