Hi fellas, I am looking for some advice regarding cable labeling. I like to label my cables for the patchbay and midi bay as well. what do you use ? getting a label printer ? use shrinking tubes ? some kind of gafa tape and writing on it ?
plastic zip ties with the label tag and handwritten identification with a sharpie marker…job done. I do tag both ends of all cables.
Once attached just cut off excess.
Used these for years.

I use this textile tape. Can be „ripped“ by hand, and one can write well on it:
