I’ve never come across Bugbrand before. Is this compressor something to take note of? 
My octatrack’s best friend. Wonderful compressor, the dual filters in the sidechain are really special.

It’s just so so so good. It can run from nice and subtle across the master bus, to full on apocalypse crushing of the signal - with wet/dry for good parallel compression stuff. Very very worth getting

How often do they come up?
Well last year he said they were discontinued, then last week or whenever he released 8 more and they have sold out already. But his mailing list is super informative, if you sign up to that you’ll know when stuff is made again - can’t think he would stop making them anymore if he just sold the new batch so quickly.
Totally! Sounds great on everything, especially drums. Really glues stuff together. Very powerful comp.
Anything that comes close feature and sound quality-wise will only be in 19” rack format or twice the price.
