Bug: Velocity Modulation amounts not saved

I’m running into a bug on my AR. Curious to know if anyone else is having the same problem.

Last night I was playing around with velocity modulation, sequencing long retrig “rolls” that increased/decreased in velocity as a way of testing how different velocity mod settings sounded.

Along the way, I came up with a couple of nice patterns I wanted to come back to. But when I turned my AR on this morning, all of the velocity mod settings were gone and the patterns I had liked were lifeless. To be more precise, all of the velocity modulation AMOUNTS were set to zero; the actual routing (to filter cutoff, decay, etc.) was still in place.

I first figured it was some issue with saving, so I set new velocity mod amounts, then saved the kit I was working on. But when I turned my AR off and on again, I had the same issue. I tested on another sound and had the same problem.

Any ideas what’s going on here? The one thing I can think of right now is that I have “velocity --> volume” turned off on the sounds I was working with. That shouldn’t affect what I’m dealing with, but maybe there’s some bug…

you are totally correct. Elektron is aware of this one afaik.

I just ran into the same bug yesterday, too. Looking forward to a fix as velocity modding is really useful/fun. Too bad the mod destinations don’t include the LFO parameters, for some reason . . . perhaps that will be ‘fixed’ too.
