This box looks intesting. It’s some sort of crazy looping granular sampler.
Is there anything that can do similar, either in hardware or software?
Or anything else with a similar sample mangling ethos?

They sound more or less the stuff Aqeel Aadam does, but in hardware
First part of the video sounds a lot like weeping wall, second part more like ridge maker.
To be honest I don’t even think aqeel’s stuff is very original, just a great sounding, well designed variation.

for the granular/uncertainty angle in software, Mutable’s Clouds was the spiritual ancestor of a lot of this stuff and there are still some really interesting forks and clones around if you want that ethos in a plugin form. Emergence Audio did a take on it, and obviously the Eurorack world still has a ton of options that carry that same “controlled unpredictability” DNA.
hardware-wise the Nightly Audio Strega is worth a look if you like the organic, unpredictable character. it’s chaotic in a different way but shares that sense of the machine having its own opinion about what happens next.
for Norns specifically, Cloudbusting and Timber are both solid starting points for that fragmented sampler territory. the whole Norns ecosystem is honestly just a deep rabbit hole of exactly this kind of thing.
