box fresh elektrons analog rytm …did yours come with a protective plastic film over the screen? Band is it usual for then to come with 1.01 os …bought mine from store and want to be sure it hasn’t already been opened as I said I specifically asked for box fresh cos I’m OCD .

no plastic on my baby, ordered from elektron directly … at least i think there is no plastic cover on it … hadnt noticed for month on my A4
I’ve had a Machinedrum and Analog Four and they never came with a protective plastic. And I usually manage to scratch the screen quite easily.
Its not a big deal for me and probably fixable but something to keep in mind.
Sure, I wished they supplied a little piece of protective plastic.

you can barely see the plastic cover elektron use so people usually leave em on, maybe they stopped using them altogether but you need to look really carefully to tell.
If its factory fresh it will probably come with latest OS installed.
All of my elektrons had and still have plastic protection on screens. They are much better on elektrons than most other manufactures which seems to lead people to believing they are not there, when they are.
Either way, the units new come with a plastic screen, and the unit itself should be in a plastic bag that is a darker smokey color. Still transparent, but shaded. Units come with various OSs depending on when they are built i believe.
Got mine last night, with scratches on the film or screen and a clear plastic bag. I’m not OCD so IDC!

Haha, not really sure what Box Fresh really means in this context? They were packed by human being, so it’s not as thought they’re sterile. I’d prefer to think someone has played it before so I know it’s not broken, if not there has been no testing.
Would you expect to buy a guitar that no hands had ever played?
