There are real gems in there for sure, loads of Jazz too. There is something totally enriching, humbling, and life affirming hearing the work of people no longer on this earth. What makes it so special is the entire process.

From the musicianship to the recording engineers through to the vinyl process and even the care of some of the people digitising.

Wow… four different stylii versions! Not something you see every day…

There are recordings all the way back to 1901 in the index. And you can filter by language, too.

archive.org are amazing…
