Could be cool?
I got the announcement by email since I’m a registered owner of some Roland and Boss products.
Cursory search of guitars (ESP EII, Ibanez Prestige) made in a Japanese (not Korean, Chinese or Indonesian) factory shows such guitars retail for $1800 to $2500. The EURUS guitar, which is also made in Japan, and appears to incorporate quality parts like Gotoh tuning machines, is thus priced competitively - imo of course.
I’m waiting to see the manual. There’s no info the synthesis engine(s) at the moment. The Boss SY-1000 synth engine embedded into the guitar would be awesome, but that might be too much to ask. The website doesn’t mention guitar modeling, just synths.
