Bome Box vs Event processor plus

Hi there, I’m looking for a way to process midi efficiently and I was wondering if there are pro and cons for these two boxes ?

I already owned an event processor some time ago and it was really easy to program but I never get into really complex territory.
I was wondering if there was any reason to go go for one or the other for other reason than connectivity and price?

As specific as I can get, one thing I’m looking for is the ability to store a cc value in a variable, process it trough a scaler and spit it out as a specific part of a sysex message. I know that eproc+ sends sysex string, but I’m not sure it can be modified by real time inputs…

If any of you wanna share a bit of knowledge !

Thanks a lot.

i have the event processor plus and it does exactly what i need it to do, but i only have a single use case for it…whereas i think the bome box excels at a variety of things and is easy to change on the fly.

i’d go with the bome box if you’re looking to get complex and want to change it a lot.

though, event processor plus is just fine for a single use case.

using Axoloti fot MIDI processing.
the only certain downside is the lack of «standard» case for the board.

Ok thanks guys. :hugs:

Just tested the Bome software this afternoon…Sooooooooooooooo much powerfu compared to ep+ ! Possibilities are overwhelming ! Almost Max like…

Ordered the Green Box !
