Bit of Bored Thursday Modular Jamming

Bored of work so fired up my system and had a jam using my modular rig and various bits. It came out a bit Plasticmanny if i’m honest but was fun anyway. Had to creatively post EQ the middle bit to save speakers and brain cells - so thats not a live tweak going on, its Logic.

I was listening to Closer the other day whilst lost in soldering some PCBs - i reckon it went in deep to my subconscious!

Great sound, I love the deep bass sounds, FM? Care to share a bit on the technical side, I enjoy reading the method behind the madness.

Hey husc - thanks for having a listen. Its mostly one eurorack modular patch that i’m tweaking as i go. The patch is pretty much all clocked from the end of sample output of the Make Noise Phonogene and this drives various other modules. The Phonogene is randomised variously by Wogglebug and Richter Noisering. Its a mass of wires TBH that i dont really plan in any way!

Bizarrely of all the bass making bits i have the bass on this is from the Sonic Potions LXR which also does drums.

It all sounds a bit “white coat and beardy” when i read it back - but its just serendipitous in actuality.
