Best way to connect current gear

So I’m on Day 4 with the Octatrack. Have been figuring out the basics and want to start meshing the rest of my gear into the OT.

Current setup without OT:

guitar -> pedals -> amp -> mixer
JDXi synth -> mixer
SP404sx -> mixer
SM58 -> TC Helicon Voicelive -> mixer

Currently my JDXi is sending midi to a DittoX4 so my guitar loops are in sync with my synth programs. I assume synching everything with the OT would be the most dynamic and have more options. But with only two inputs on the OT I’m curious what you all would suggest.

Cheers

look at midi solutions products and see if they fit your needs. Theyre cheap, powered buy midi and very useful

Does your mixer have a send? I have a mixer with stereo sends, and I use that to send guitar to the Octatrack’s AB.

If your mixer has more than one send, you can also add in an effects loop, and route that to the Octatrack’s CD.

Depending on how many inputs your mixer has, you can also hook up the OT’s AB and CD outputs.

The Octatrack has FOUR (4) inputs.

There´s no obligation to use them as 2x stereo pairs, you can easily (using “thru” machines) just use a mono input separately, for your Guitar or your SM58, for example.
