What Elektron gear do you have/ do you have an OT? That’s been the only way I’ve been recording lately, and once you get over the slight learning curve with initial setup/ gain staging it becomes a “simple” way to record a hefty amount of live jamming in the box. As far as techniques you can try using a One-Shot Recording Trig on your Track/Recording Machine, so that it doesn’t loop and start overwriting after 64 Steps, and it can be stopped either automatically when the internal RAM fills up or whenever you press STOP.
