Best portable speaker (including wired connection) for under £200?

Hey all, I would love to connect my portable music gear (M8 Tracker, Deluge etc) to a portable speaker that still has excellent sound. But what’s the best one you can get for under £200? I like wireless for general music listening, but of course that won’t work for connecting gear or being able to live record into it without insufferable latency. And I’m sure I’d also connect my Elektron gear using the headphones out and a 1/4 to 3.5mm adapter!

Is anyone else rocking this kind of setup for music making when you’re not in your home studio with your full speakers setup?

There are a couple of threads on this already with recent posts.

I’m in the same boat and have landed on a pair of Minirig 2’s, or possibly the 4’s if I’m feeling flash, although there seems to be not much difference in sound quality

If you’re a musician where latency is important, the MiniRigs are the way to go.

All the recent portable JBL speakers are Bluetooth only, no 3.5mm aux input.

oh i am out of date

I bought a Soundcore Motion+ recently and can’t fault it. Low latency with the 3.5mm audio input
