cool well that saves me from GAS and spend money as I love my Rytm MK2. I did figure out some ways to get darkwave and synthwave sounds by tweaking reverb and distortion. Virus works well too. That said like sequencers, drum machines are my addiction besides guitars. Something about the immediacy of beat making gives me joy.
βBestβ is what you make of them. Just go get something and start making music. You will adjust it to your needs. So go grab a Machinedrum, or an SP-404 MKII and load it with drum machine samples, or get one of those Roland classic drum machine boxes, a Syntakt or a Digitakt will most likely work wonders if you have a vision and skills, even the Octatrack, shit, so many ways to go. Just pick one, sharpen your knives, and get to work.
