To each their own. I just wanted to share another perspective because I see a lot of hype around the RS7000, but it was never that great for me. Same with the SP404… I doubt everyone will love these machines, personally, I can’t stand them
Thanks, I definitely need to try this with my Collider pedal.
if the rs7000 had better sample management I could put up with one again… still have my mem cards full of tracks… you never know how a sampler will move you, everyone seems to love the mpc 1000 I don’t like it at all, but I love the 2500
I love this idea! I’ll share my OP XY album here in the coming weeks!
…feel like it’s pissing on my Elektronaut chips a bit here, but for me it’s the iPad. Portable, battery that genuinely lasts all day, excellent built in speakers [iPad Pro], multiple synthesis types, expandable with crazy new stuff for peanuts, experimental sequencing or a pianoroll DAW, MIDI/Audio options, creative FX…
I’m a fan of the M:C/M:S, DN2, RYTM, RS7000, MC303, Electribes, Circuit, 707… but in terms of the sounds they can make and the way they can move them, the iPad can do it all - the cost fewer knobs, a little less cachet and a little more glass. For me a groove box is about ideas to notes wherever I am, whatever I’m doing. For example: Battalion multichannel via AUM into Fauve/Silo/Eventide… incredible potential
I mean…ipads etc
Just cant get away from tapping glass…
