it was precisely at 2:54 on the youtube introduction video that i stopped the video and put in a pre-order. multiple banks of 8 faders over TRS/USB midi, up to 16 scenes of morphing fader settings, it’s so op…and they put that little bit after showing the 4 channel 40 second gesture recording, gesture time scaling, offset, quantization, rotation, looping, sequencer, scales, chords.
they are supposed to ship in june this year. cheaper than 4ea individual gliss modules, with way more functions. not sure if open source like gliss, if so having this much tech with TRS+USB midi attached is gonna be a really fun platform
I’m thinking about how with gliss you can draw in a motion and have it loop and become an LFO or looping envelope, if this thing is really open source too, once you get under the hood how many of those can you make and put on depth/rate slider, or a trigger button, or have the shape tied to another asymmetrical shape that ramps the speed? if there’s 4 channels with 40 seconds each, I’m thinking that’s 160 seconds of i guess gesture memory, and I’m thinking about 4 banks of 8 depth/rate sliders but instead of a slider each one got a 5 second hand drawn LFO wave. the backlit touch pad tech is inspiring af thinking of all the ways you could set it up. and whatever they used for the physics looks really good. reminds me of the OP-1 dryer ball sequencer, with adjustable gravity and collision lol
