Haha. Believe me, I have thought about that MANY times.
where the hell is this thing, is anybody stocking it?
not yet. put in a pre pre order at SW though
Just ordered mine from Andertons in Uk. Back to the 70’s!!!
In stock, or preorder? These aren’t anywhere in Japan yet.
Expected end of July. Behringer are staggering out the latest synths monthly i guess to avoid logistic problems. Cant Thomann ship to you?
it sound great like the clockwork orange classic … i will get it.
Thanks. Good to know the info. I’m fine with waiting for a Japan release, but was just curious if they were already shipping in other places.
The Solina is a hot seller ( as reported on Thomann ), so Behringer made a good bet committing to making it. That hadn’t been a sure bet market-wise to me. It also feels to me that the Solina is the sort of product, that is OK to recreate.
It’s one I’ve held off getting as I’m more than covered in that department but I might pick one up at some point. Deffo a convenience having a proper stringer in a small package
This is a comparison of the Behringer Solina, with three software based Solinas. Unfortunately there isn’t an original included here, so this video gets to be more about what you prefer and would like to use, rather than being closest to the original.
The video is short and focuses only on a few sounds. Yet it is an interesting comparison.
The order of synths played :
Behringer Solina
Arturia Solina V2 (virtual analog)
UVI String Machines 2 (sampled based)
Bigga Giggas Solina sample pack (samples)
Read the comments for details on the comparison. This is two minutes and twenty seconds long.
Behringer kicked butt, and arturia sounds very good
Ive had the Behringer and got the latest Arturia collection… The Arturia not only does it match the Solina it is way more flexible by having patch storage. Sold the Behringer as its dead wood in a studio for me. Looks pretty though.
They should’ve put the Solina and Toro in one case. Now they’re both too bulky for what it is.
@BlankFlag how many HM-3’s do you own?
Only one HM-3.
