Anyone else having midi timing issues with their B clones? I’m not talking about the issues around triggering/sustain settings which has been covered.
If I sequence two parts on the DN, one internal and one midi part (which I’m routing to the Model D) then route the synth output to the DN input when I hit play the Model D notes are ‘late’. If I nudge the midi notes back to say 1/92 then everything sounds much tighter. That’s not a good workaround tho as nudging the first midi note means it doesn’t play first time around after hitting play. I can recreate the same issue when using the AR2 as the sequencer. I remember having similar issues with the Oddy too. Model D is running the latest firmware. Again, from memory the timing was tight when sequencing via CV but I’ve not checked recently.
I’ve raised a ticket with B but I don’t think I’m the only person with this issue. I normally put stuff together in DAW so I can slide recorded parts around no problem but when working OTB it’s a bit of a bummer. One workaround it to nudge the DN parts in the other direction but it’s hardly ideal, especially if I’m using other gear without microtiming.
Anyone else having these issues? Maybe a firmware issue that’s not been addressed?
