I apologize in advance if this is a silly question or one that has been answered elsewhere. I promise I did try to google it a couple times over the past few days.
I got myself a Behringer 2600 and I’ve been slowly trying to learn it and use it with other gear, so far namely with the Synthstrom Deluge and the Bastl Softpop 2. One odd little quirk I’ve noticed is that when I pass gate from either of those into the 2600’s envelopes, the envelopes take 2-4x longer to open up than if I use MIDI. Am I missing something here?
I’ve tried what a couple videos have suggested for passing gate out into the amplifier first, passing it through sample and hold, etc and the behavior seems to be the same.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? And apologies if I’m not explaining things well…I’m kind of new to the modular space.
Your post should be in this linked topic. But I will point you to a detailed post that should allow a methodical evaluation. Your post has no useful details about patching to give meaningful response to. So view the post as a 101 on some aspects of envelope triggering for your B2600
