I am having a strange issue since I started to power up my Beatstep Pro from the USB slot of my laptop and sequencing my modular with its CV output(Gate, CV).
I can hear a distinct noise(kind of mid-high frequency) from any module output and it appears only when powering Beatstep via laptop, however with normal power supply this does not happen.
Anyone having this issue?
Sounds like a ground loop issue with the laptop. Try out some tips like these and see if it helps
