Im trying to setup the Beatstep pro to extend the control of the Digitakt.
using dt/dn overbridge in logic x.
Ive figured how to change patterns by setting prog change In to channel 16 on dt.
Then mapping the BSP pads to switch notes c-2 to g-2 on midi channel 16.
this changes the pattern on the Digitakt via overbridge -
kinda becomes a song mode if you play like this and record the midi into logic x. awesome.
ive also figured out how toggle track mutes:
map BSP pads to toggle notes c-1 to g-2 on the corresponding dt midi channels 1-8.
What I can’t figure out is this:
can I map the SMP selection to a pad?
and have the Digitakt actually move to controlling that sample page?
(I do not mean trigger the sound, I can already do that, i mean actually move to SMP 1-8 pages - by pressing pads 1-8 on BSP). any help appreciated.
I feel like this combo could be a very powerful one, any help appreciated. I could export the template for others to use if I can get it setup the way I would like.
