Batch slice maker

Been wondering if making this is actually possible the way I imagine it. And if it is actually worth the effort. Versus just manually making the slices.
Then extending on the idea, figuring out how to save sounds on the +drive with the sample slots and maybe scenes already set up.

The audio conversion seems the simplest part. Pipe C6 into Max and string the files together. To get correct divisions, samples could be filled up or even trimmed for Sysex code that indicates silence. (the only consistent/readable line of sysex-audio)
Ordering could be done any number of ways. From C6 or whatever algorithm you make in Max.

Not clear yet on how the +drive saving of sounds and perhaps kits would work. I hope the OB file management actually takes care of that.
Still, I suppose the answer can be gotten from exporting a sound/kit that is linked to a sample.

I am in no way good with Sysex nor am I volunteering for this task.
Just thinking out loud and would love to be corrected on the viability of stringing Sysex files together and inserting silence lines to make the whole thing dividable by 120.
At the very least, I think I might have come up with a sample accurate audio to sysex silence trimmer.
I’m also not an MSP guy, so sample rate conversion or making automated slice audio files are probably best left to sample batch editors. (If I understand it correctly, C6 doesn’t convert. The Rytm/OT does that)

Making the slices manually really isn’t that bad. But setting up the slices to make kits is a pain. The real problem is that I have trouble deciding which samples I want to load into the Rytm.
And maybe I’m underestimating the amount of work it would take to string slices together in Max.
