I have tried it. The video bastl posted about this is extremely cool, but I wouldn’t say it’s a core feature of the box. Gain staging it can be tricky (for example, it was much too hot for my Microcosm, if I recall).
I might try it again, but I’ve gone back to using my bestie the “normal” way.

Fwiw I bought mine during the sale and I like it a lot. Super convenient, sounds nice and clean if that’s what you want and very gnarly (in a good way) if you don’t. For the price I paid it’s an absolute no-brainer

I bought one for super cheap on reverb earlier this year and I’ve been super stoked on it since. Sometimes I remember that it can be an overblown noise machine and hqve fun with it but mostly it’s just a very chill lil mixer

I’m interested in this too. I upgraded to a fancier mixer and when I have a minute I’m excited to try out the bestie in the fx loop - but when I was using the bestie as my main mixer, I didn’t end up using the no-input effect much because it got so loud so quickly.

Thanks for the feedback! I was hoping that could be a solution, but I wasn’t sure if it was enough or if I needed a proper dedicated limiter.
a ground loop would be the true culprit. The original poster mentions that they used a reliable USB cable/hub to charge a number of things. I suspect the problem isn’t in the reliability of the one hub, but in the fact that they are all being charged off the same thing.
