i started playing around with my digitakt 2 again, and i figured out how to delete unused samples from project, but how to delete the 01 to 16 samples that comes basic with a project there doesnt seem to be a way to delete them?
Do you mean you’d like to delete these from the project RAM? Those default 16 sounds actually make up a Kit. The fastest way to replace them with something else would be to make your own Kit of 16 sounds, save it, and then load that kit to all empty patterns in the “Manage Kits” menu. If you’d like to completely clear out the RAM, I think there is a function to “select all” in the RAM and then unload everything.
Yeah, if I understand correctly what you’re trying to do, you need to unload the default samples from RAM. Try page 72 if you’d like to see the manual pages which address this.
i did that, but didnt remove the other ones. but something weird happened… i had a sample that was used, and i dont know why it was deleted. but i saved the same project under 3 different names. all of them have this sample gone now weird, seeing the sizes of the projects at 7-8mb each when i save in computer u thought it was including the sample in the project itself. seems theres some samples from the internal ram, and some from the project?
if its the case it can be confusing and hard to manage samples when to decide what to delete etc…
