I’m seeing Basement Jaxx live this Thursday in Los Angeles. I’ve been waiting 24 years for this (since Rooty dropped) and am bursting with excitement!

Rooty and Remedy are great. Never heard any of the newer ones. I love that they were done on such a basic setup (Akai samplers, Atari sequencing, Juno 106 plus other odd bits IIRC). Was a bit miffed to recently find out that the bassline from ‘Where’s Your Head At’ is a Gary Numan sample!

Saw them this past Thursday in SF. Great show, a little rusty. These Coachella adjacent shows can sometimes be rehearsal-like. They have four singers, dancers, horn player, percussion, and drums join them.
You can watch them on the Coachella stream on Sunday. They aired it last week and I would imagine it will be a similar schedule.
