Hi guys- I can’t wrap my head around this. How do banks corresponds do patterns? From the manual I somehow understood that each bank has its own pattern set but when I load a dif pattern, the set of sounds that is in it i.e. bank is changing as well. I’m confused.
What is the best way to save your work in that case?As a bank or pattern?

A bank holds 16 patterns. Patterns contain sequence information.
Each pattern links to a kit. Kits contain settings for sounds and effects.
You should probably read the manual, at least as far as page 11.
Sounds like you confuse bank with kit. A set of sounds is a kit, not a bank. Each pattern has a kit assigned to it. Many patterns can have the same kit, though.
Yes- I meant KIT not Bank.

No.
A pattern can only reference one kit.
Yet a single kit can be applied to multiple patterns.
But they are saved independently correct? What is your method of saving work then? You save a kit , name it " horror techno 3" and then make a note that pattern A15 works with it?
Patterns are saved automatically. Each Pattern remembers which Kit was being used with it when you next use the Pattern.
After you change the settings in a Kit, you should save the Kit. Note that if you use the same Kit on other Patterns, the sounds and effects will have changed for it as well, because the Pattern only knows to use that Kit.
I strongly recommend that you read the manual from the beginning.

You could look at it like this .WENENVER U PLAY this machine you’re IN A PATTERN ( not as in most synths where you can play a sound without being in a sequence or pattern ) - and when you play a note - the sound you hear is the sound of 1 of the four tracks of this pattern.
( 4 tracks = 4 sounds ) The groupname of the 4 sounds is a KIT.
The groupname of the 4 tracks is a PATTERN
U can save sounds individually to the + DRIVE or the SOUND POOL.
But in order to play them there’s no other way than from a KIT.( so from a pattern )
SO U HAVE TO MAKE OR/AND LINK A KIT TO A PATTERN ,
Linking is very easy - THE MACHINE DOUS THIS FOR YOU !
I LINKS the last used KIT to pattern you where in.
What if you want to use THESAME KIT for DIFFERENT PATTERNS ?
So one Pattern can only have 1 KIt
1 KIT can be linked to any numbre od Patterns.
I consequence any changes you make in the Kit will reflect in all paterns who use linked to this Kit.
