Backup Digitakt via transfer 1.4

Hello there,

Does anyone know if it’s possible to backup everything on the Digitakt via the new Transfer 1.4? (backup projects, samples, sounds etc)

I would like to do a reset, and just start over, but I would like to be able to go back to my old projects if I regret the factory reset.

Thanks

/Emil

I think you can, but not with a single click.

If you drag all your projects onto you computer that should save all the relevant sample. Then if you want to save the unused sounds too - drag them into the ale folder?

I dunno - going from memory, maybe someone else knows better.

You need to make sure you have the latest firmware or your samples won’t get saved.

I normally don’t do this, but:

If doing a reset it’s best to read that manual thoroughly.
I’m there’s also elk herd (currently in beta though)

Hi folks,

well again i maybe asking obvious stuff but just to be sure:

Due to all these bugs being reported within OS 1.3 i decided to do a backup with TRANSFER 1.4 and OS 1.21A first…

So, do i just need to drag and drop SAMPLES, PROJECTS, SOUNDS onto my computer, or is there more?

i read so much about sysex-files etc. that i’m not quite sure if i need to do “more” for a complete backup ?!!?

Thanks!
