I have a DT2 inbound and one of the things I always do with new Elektron gear is back up the included content. Do I need to use Transfer for this and wait a few hours, or does Elektron have somewhere for registered user to download the content again if needed? I seem to remember that being the case with my OT2, but wanted to double-check.

You won’t be able to back up the samples, the ‘Factory’ folder is not exposed to the transfer software.
BUT, you can back up project and sounds, which will include a proportion of the factory samples.
If all you’re worried about is regaining that stuff when lost somehow, there is one flavour of reset which will do that for you, and there’s no particular need to back up anything.
Perfect, as long as I can’t lose those samples that’s all I care about. Does the factory content still count towards the overall storage limits of the +Drive still then?
