So after 7 years of owning a Monomachine, I finally upgraded to a +drive (2 years ago I upgraded to a mkii). Now I’m wondering, is there a way to backup all snapshots at once, or do you have to do that individually?

I believe a sysex dump to a computer backs up absolutely everything. Is this not correct, dubthonic?

SYSEX SEND ALL = send contents of MM internal memory (which corresponds to one snapshot).
Probably the only inconvenience with the MNM. I wish I could backup all them in a few clicks…
There really ought to be software for this, and even more so for the MD. The MNM is pretty painless compared to the MD which has samplebanks. But either way it is still a perfect job for software compared to semi-fallible brainware.
I haven’t backed anything up since I got the +drives in my md/mnm… one day I will cry.
In fact I haven’t backed up the memory on my CF card for the octatrack in a looong time… I really am setting myself up here.
step #1: admitting you have a problem.
