Back up my rytm mk 2

is there a way to “back up” my analogue rytm mk 2 onto a computer so that if it was damaged all the patterns programmed and settings were saved and i could just download it onto a new one if something catastrophic happened?

like an iphone?

come on elektron this should be standard because if this thing breaks and i’m meant to be using it live/travelling i want a way of backing up what i have already created.

at this price it should be standard…

Have you tried the Transfer app, provided by Elektron?

so how do i save all the drum patterns form the rytm mk 2 onto the transfer app?

I havn’t used it for months because I don’t do much music with the computer at the moment. It lets you synchronise projects and samples between your computer and your Rytm (and most of the other Elektron range). Roughly speaking: connect your Rytm; run Transfer; pick a folder on your computer; tell it to transfer/back-up; done.

I’m not going to write a proper tutorial because I don’t remember, and it’s all in the manual, which I think I linked in the previous post.
