“Just Asking Questions” is a common antipattern and inciteful shit-stirring for people already a bit emotionally frustrated. The joke is usually on the people affected by whatever they’re poking around at.

Well folks, I never thought this day would come. After almost 4 years of waiting, I have finally received my Avalon Bassline. Were my country not a fractious wormball of a shit-show I would be able to enjoy this day more. Cats are a consolation. I hope everyone who is still waiting gets theirs soon.

He didn’t need to because i managed to catch him on the phone. But he WILL send an email to you before shipping the Avalon to confirm your address. As long as you have the same email address you will be fine, because that will give you a chance to be certain he has your correct address. He told me he’s down to the last 70 units, and they’re ready to go and he’s slowly (too slowly) shipping. You will get that email eventually. I know your frustration.

Yeah, more than a few persons decided to buy theirs to flip or became more opportunistic when they saw others do the same.
Mine was the standard black with red LED’s, so it was $1095. Other combos, like @thermionic were a bit more expensive presumably because fewer were made.

Right now there are 5 on Reverb and 4 of them are $3000 or more. That is ridiculous. No one should pay that much. There will be more used ones in the pipeline because of this latest batch.
IIRC there was a 100 USD price increase due to labor needed to physically desolder/resolder leds on the units with different leds colour from the one that come as standard on the main board from the supplier.
Also another 100 for the silver faceplate too I think.
Happy to see Brian finally sending the last units out, I love my white on white leds, it’s one of those things that I’m happy to just have sitting on the desk, despite being also a wonderful sounding piece if gear.
