Autosave as it is implemented on the AR and A4 is a really weird feature, because saving doesn’t always mean saving to +drive and loading doesn’t always means loading from +drive. Some operations only “save” to a kind of in-memory clipboard and the corresponding reload is only a restore from this in-memory clipboard.
Please read this thread:
Elektronauts - help me check my understanding: It seems to me that there is no way to recall a pattern once its been edited unless you a) never leave the pattern, in which case you can use “reload + pattern”, or b) stop the sequencer and reload the project. Put another way, while in a session or show where you can’t stop the sequencer, you can very easily get into a situation where you can never get back to a pattern as it existed when you first loaded the project. I’ve come to this conclusio…
… and another one here:
Hello, i try to understand how to permanently save trig locks as my base pattern. I see that if i make automations for example with resonance, save the pattern/track/kit with all resonance p-locks on that track, and start jamming from there, example i start clearing that resonance, BUT MOVE TO ANOTHER PATTERN AND BACK, my “resonance pattern” was saved even if i did not saved it, in the last stage of my jam (when i cleared all p-locks while jamming) not how i already explained that i saved it wit…
