Hi all, one function of the OT has been pissing me off lately: the autosave. I like to start with a blank project that has the slots and record settings how I like them, but if I forget to save it as a copy and want to return to default after I’ve made changes, “reload project” is useless because of autosave, and reload part is useless because it only applies to machine data, not sequencer.
Any way of turning off the autosave so I have a failsafe way of saving manualy and returning to a project’s known state without filling up my card with tons of copies of the same project? How are you guys dealing with this?
I only just finished my first read of the manual and was a lot to take in but from what I remember I didn’t realise the autosave took precedent over the most recent manual save?I’m sure in the manual it made out like reloading always took you back to the last manual save? Guess not tho, I’ll have to read through again tonight… I agree there really should be an option to turn off autosave if it works how you guys describe…
