Automatic slice live recordings

Hi guys,
is there some one could kindly help me to understand how to set automatic slice for a live recordings on flex machine track?
If some one have had the opportunity to see this tutorial of dataline:


he talked about this at minutes 19:19, he use the trig of his “automatic slice” to remix live the loop he has just recorded from the tr 909 or tb 303…

He talk about flex buffer set to slice-stop ,
but i can’ t find it on the manual.

Hope some one could help me to better understand the situation.

Slice mode maybe?

Basically, you need a previously sliced sample in the recording buffer. Theorically the new recording should have the same length as the first sliced sample, hence same tempo.
